Finca Nogales is a third-generation family farm in El Diamante, near Bruselas, Huila, dating back to the 1940s. Under patriarch Ricaurte Hernández, it won Colombia's Cup of Excellence in 2006. After his death in 2013, his children Oscar, Angie, and Olga took over — Oscar leads farm strategy, while Angie, trained as an industrial engineer, drives fermentation design and microbiology. The farm now runs its own cupping lab and microbiology lab, pairing family tradition with genuine research infrastructure.
